Undergraduate Scholarships

1. International Major Entrance Scholarship (IMES)

Graduate Scholarships

1. Guaranteed Ph.D. Funding

A minimal amount of funding is provided to exceptional new Ph.D. students. Students receive a minimum of $22,000 in financing during the initial four years and could receive higher amounts depending on their academic qualifications. The University of British Columbia scholarship for international students may be used to pay for school costs, including tuition and books, as well as the expenses for living.

2. International Tuition Award

The International Tuition Award which is up to $3,200 goes to full-time registered graduates who are enrolled in research-based doctoral and master’s programs. If you receive funding from a government agency or other organization that is equal to or greater than the International Tuition Award, you will not be eligible. This scholarship is available to international students in research-oriented programs.
